The Multicultural Student Union is an intersectional anti-racism coalition formed by SVA’s cultural clubs. We united in order to amplify and advocate for the concerns of SVA’s BI+POC students. We create attainable goals for the community’s benefit through initiatives like SVAchange and hold the administration accountable for improvements in diversity, equity, and inclusion. Ultimately, we strive to educate and empower the marginalized BI+POC community at SVA.
SVAchange is an initiative organized by the Multicultural Student Union. We are demanding institutional change for SVA’s marginalized Black students and larger BI+POC community. We will work together with the students and the administration to ensure that our demands are met.
We want ACTIONS, not WORDS.
